The company was established in 1978 by Scott and Andy Gerlach. While attending Ohio State University, Scott and Andy were cleaning carpets part time to make ends meet. At the time they were cleaning with a portable machine (like the kind you can rent now) and the truck powered machine had just come to market. After seeing the incredible results this machine performed, they decided to launch Gerlach Cleaning Systems, Inc.From the beginning, Scott and Andy realized the value of an IICRC education and certification. They immersed themselves in attending continuing education classes, studying cleaning magazines, manuals, and networking with other professionals in the Central Ohio area. As a result, Scott and Andy, along with their exceptional staff, began to solve many of the difficult cleaning concerns for carpet retailers, designers, and homeowners. Over the years, Scott, Andy, and their exceptional staff have continued to build the company through education, customer service, and quality work.

The technicians arrived right on time and were very courteous & professional. They not only cleaned my carpet & took special care of my new leather couch, but they assured me that my chair was not a total loss. My white chair looked very dirty. They took special care to show me how it was coming clean. They told me it was just the oil in the dog's coats. Now the chair is in the living room. No dogs allowed!

Andrew & Chad arrived on time, were both courteous and knowledgeable. They explained the Always Clean Program. They were careful moving furniture and went right to work. This is the first time our new carpet has been cleaned and upon completion the carpet looked every bit as good as when it was installed. Our thanks to Gerlach for again providing excellent service!

I've been using Gerlach for several years. They always do an awesome job, at an affordable price. Everyone I have worked with is friendly and professional. I've used them for both carpet and furniture cleaning. The results have been phenomenal, especially considering i have a senior dog with bladder issues. You'd never know it, once they've cleaned. I highly recommend this company and their wonderful staff!

We have been a customer of Gerlach for years. I made the mistake of using another company to clean and seal our bathroom grout because they were having a sale. The grout was barely cleaned and was not sealed. I called Gerlach to do our annual carpet cleaning. Before the technician started, I asked about grout cleaning he said that Gerlach does clean grout and he could clean it that day.
The grout on the shower walls and floor are now spotless! It looks like the day it was installed. The cost was the same as the sale price of the other company. We also had a large area of nail polish that was accidentally spilled on the carpet after a mani pedi day with our Granddaughter. The technical got the nail polish out! It is barely visible. The other company said they couldn't get it out, without even looking at it. We can't say enough about the work they did here. We so appreciate it!

All I can say is WOW! We were having a large party this summer and the toll my pets had taken on our carpets was becoming more and more evident. I got in touch with Gerlach Cleaning to deep clean our carpets for the party and the results were fantastic! There is nothing quite like freshly cleaned carpets and my guests were commenting on them all night!
